Flexible system for fire protection of metal air ducts

We are pleased to announce the availability for sale of the new flexible protection system for metal ventilation and smoke evacuation ducts AF Safeguard: the system is the result of 4 years of intense effort, testing and fine-tuning, and is a unique reference in Europe for its versatility and ease of handling.

Description

AF SAFEGUARD is a flexible protection system certified according to EN 1366-1 to guarantee an EI 120/180 performance in the presence of ventilation or natural extraction metal duct penetrations, exposed to fire from both outside and inside.

Furthermore, the system is certified according to EN 1366-8 for the protection of metal ducts for forced smoke extraction, guaranteeing an EIS 120 performance .

The product is composed of a rock wool mat quilted externally on metal mesh and internally on a glass wool fabric treated with a special ablative product; spacer profiles and a metal mesh, both in galvanised steel, to be assembled after the mat has been wrapped.

✅ Durability of at least 25 years with class Y: resistant even in locations with humidity > 85%, temperatures that may fall below 0 °C and direct exposure to ultraviolet radiation;

✅ ETA (European Technical Assessment) certification already available and CE marking in the process of being obtained;

✅ Product under patenting.
